What Parking Lot Painting Includes
Striping and restriping is the heart of it. Sealcoating makes the lines look even better.
Parking Lot Striping & Restriping
Stalls, double-line spaces, arrows, stop bars, crosswalks and directional markings, laid out straight and painted sharp. Faded lines restriped over the existing layout, or a brand-new layout.
ADA, Fire Lanes & Curbs
Accessible stalls, access aisles and symbols, fire lanes, no-parking zones, loading zones and painted curbs, so your property stays clear and compliant.
Sealcoating, When It Helps
Lots are often sealcoated first so the new lines stand out on jet-black pavement. We can do both in one visit, or restripe only.
Retail Centers & Big-Box Lots
Many stores only need their lines refreshed. We do that.
Big-box stores, shopping centers and plazas often need restriping on its own: faded stalls, worn arrows, ADA spaces that need a refresh, or a layout change after a tenant moves. Tar Seal restripes lots of every size and plans the work around your customers, with cones and barricades so part of the lot stays open.
- Restriping only, no sealcoat required
- Layout changes and added or removed stalls
- Phased work so shoppers can still park
- Ask about after-hours scheduling
Common Questions
Is parking lot painting the same as striping?
Yes. Many property managers around Tampa Bay say “parking lot painting” when they mean new or refreshed lines on the pavement. We do both: striping and restriping, with sealcoating when the pavement needs it.
How often should a lot be restriped?
Lines in busy lots usually fade within a year or two, depending on traffic and sun. If your stalls and arrows are hard to see, it is time. We will look at the lot and tell you honestly.
Can you paint just the lines?
Yes. Restriping alone is often the quickest, most affordable way to make a lot look sharp again.
